Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR)

Self-navigating robots designed to move goods across dynamic warehouse environments

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are intelligent, self-navigating robots that transport goods without relying on fixed routes or physical guidance infrastructure.

Using sensors, cameras, and onboard intelligence, AMRs dynamically navigate around obstacles and adapt to changing layouts. This makes them ideal for warehouses and production environments where workflows, routes, and volumes frequently change.

Why Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) is Suitable for You

01
Designed for Dynamic and Changing Environments

AMRs adapt to layout changes, traffic conditions, and obstacles without requiring route reprogramming or infrastructure changes.

02
Flexible Deployment and Fast Scaling

Robots can be deployed quickly and scaled easily by adding units as throughput requirements increase.

03
Improved Safety in Shared Workspaces

Advanced sensors and navigation logic allow AMRs to operate safely alongside people, forklifts, and other equipment.

04
Reduce Manual Transport and Labor Dependency

By automating internal transport tasks, AMRs free operators to focus on higher-value activities such as picking, packing, and quality control.

How Does Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Work?

Autonomous Mobile Robots navigate using a combination of LiDAR, cameras, and onboard software to map and understand their environment.

Once tasks are assigned—either manually or via integration with WMS, WCS, or production systems—AMRs calculate optimal routes in real time. They automatically avoid obstacles, adjust paths, and complete transport tasks without fixed guidance.

Robot type, load capacity, speed, and task logic are designed based on material type, transport frequency, and operational requirements.

This approach enables flexible, scalable, and resilient automation in fast-changing operations.

System Structure

AMR systems typically include:

  • AMR units – designed for pallets, totes, carts, or custom loads
  • Navigation sensors – LiDAR, cameras, and obstacle detection systems
  • Fleet management software – coordinating tasks, routes, and robot traffic
  • Charging systems – automatic or opportunity charging stations

Optional features and enhancements include:

  • Integration with WMS, WCS, or ERP systems
  • Top modules such as conveyors, lifts, or robotic arms
  • Fleet dashboards and performance analytics
  • Visual and audible safety indicators
